Full Day Cape Town Tour

08h00 - 17h30
The tour starts with a visit to Diamonds Works where you will see how the precious stones go from the raw material into works of art. We then start at the bottom of Cape Town heading up the Heerengracht and stopping at the Castle. We visit the District 6 Museum to get a glimpse of life before the area was demolished. The route takes us past the Grand parade, City Hall and up to the Company Gardens. Here you get a chance to stretch your legs and walk through the gardens of up Government Avenue passing the Houses of Parliament and the SA Gallery along the way. Your guide will meet you near the top and take you to the SA Natural History Museum. We then go to the Bo-kaap, along Long Street and a browse through Green Market Square. The morning part of the tour finishes off with a scenic drive out to Blouberg Beach for a view of Table Mountain.
We then go to the waterfront for an orientation of the most visited place in South Africa. Here you can grab a bite to eat before departing for Robben Island for the afternoon. Should you wish to go to the island, bookings need to be made at least 10 days in advance if possible (cancellations do happen but can’t be relied on). Upon arrival back at the waterfront you can either spend the evening here or be dropped at your hotel or somewhere in Cape Town.
