Discover the history and beauty of the Cape Winelands south of Cape Town. By experiencing the Winelands Half Day Tour of the Constantia Valley, you will notice there is more to the Cape Peninsula than just Cape Point and the penguins. There’s scenic coastal drives, Cape Dutch architecture, rolling vineyards, mountain ranges and wine. We visit Cape Point Vineyards after driving over one of the most scenic passes in South Africa – Chapman’s Peak Drive. After our introduction to the white wines of the Cape, its off to the Constantia Valley over Ou Kaapse Weg (mountain pass) with a stop at the top to admire the view of the Cape Town suburbs and vineyards below. There are a variety of vineyards to choose from, depending on your taste, we will work out the best selection for you. We will visit a total of 2 vineyards, ending the tasting with the Vin de Constance – a deep, golden, natural sweet wine before returning to Cape Town.
This tour, although being a half day tour, can start at 10H00 and end at 15H00 to include a lunch at one of the vineyards en route.
